Maggie Price is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, the Pastel Society of New Mexico, and Plein Air New Mexico. Co-founder of The Pastel Journal magazine, she served as editor and art director for five years, and has written over 90 articles about art and artists. Her instructional book on painting with pastels will be released in May 2007 by North Light Books. She serves on the advisory boards of The Pastel Journal and The Artist's Magazine, and on the Board of Directors of IAPS. Maggie frequently judges exhibitions, and teaches workshops in the US and abroad.
