Desmond O'Hagan was born in Germany and raised in the U.S. Constantly challenging himself has translated into a fulfilling career encompassing several one man shows and participation in group exhibitions in the U.S., Japan, China and France. He is a Master a Pastelist with PSA and has won several awards in their annual shows. He has also won the George Innes, Jr. Memorial Award from the Salmagundi Club and IAPS 1999 Prix’d Pastel Award. In 2005 he was inducted into IAPS first "Master Circle". His art has been featured in numerous magazines and his paintings have been featured in several books including Rockport Publisher's The Best of Pastel and Quarry Books' The Best of Pastel 2. His art is in private and public collections in the U.S. Japan, Canada and Europe.
