Purpose

To raise awareness of soft pastel art in
the community and provide support for pastelists through experience, study, observation and shared knowledge.

Society History and Activities

TXPS was founded by Maria Campos Lopez in Jan. 2008. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday at the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts. TXPS schedules monthly meetings, demos, paint-outs, museum visits, gallery walks, critiques, workshops, all member shows and juried competitions.
