The Pastel Society of San Diego’s purpose is to educate, encourage and support the use of pastel as a medium through lectures and demonstrations.
Society History and Activities
PSSD, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 1983. Meetings are open to the public and held on the first Sunday of every other month: February, April, June, August, October and December. Meetings begin at 2:00 p.m. in the community room of the Mission Valley Public Library at 2123 Fenton Parkway (off Friars Road) in San Diego.
Upcoming Events
The 25th Annual Open Juried Show at Gallery 21 in Spanish Village, Balboa Park, will be held in the Spring of 2010. More information to come.
Membership Information
The annual membership fee of $25/30 is due between April 1 and May 31. (Newsletters mailed USPS are $30.) The annual membership directory is published in June.
