Liz Haywood-Sullivan

Liz Haywood-Sullivan, PSA, IAPS/MC, is a traditional representational artist specializing in pastel landscapes. Dedicated to a career in the fine arts since 1996, specifically the pastel medium, she teaches nationally and internationally, and is a judge and demonstrator for pastel societies and arts organizations around the country. Her paintings have won numerous awards and have been featured in local, national and museum shows, and are included in private and corporate collections worldwide.

She is the Vice President of the International Association of Pastel Societies, and holds Signature Memberships with the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod, Connecticut Pastel Society and membership in the Academic Arts Association and Salmagundi Club of NYC. Her work has been featured in The Pastel Journal, American Artist, Southwest Art, The Artist’s Magazine and American Art Collector Magazine as well as in the new 2011 North Light Book, Painting Sunlight and Shadow with Pastels, by Maggie Price.

Her work is represented by Vose Galleries of Boston, where she will have a solo show in October 2011.

Her 2011 workshops include the IAPS Convention, Vermont Pastel Society, Austin Pastel Society, La Conner Workshops, Terry Ludwig Pastel Workshops, North River Arts Society and Pastel Society of America.
